What is Driveway Resurfacing? |
Driveway resurfacing is the process of applying a thin coat of concrete over an existing concrete surface. The Concrete Resurfacing mix will renew your old, worn concrete driveways, sidewalks and patios at a fraction of the cost to tear out and replace old concrete slabs. In order to get good looking, long lasting results, the concrete must contain special bonding agents.
While the original concrete is very thick, the resurfacer is just thick enough to cover the surface making it look and feel like new again. Using coloring agents, texturing techniques and a range of standard and custom stencil designs, concrete driveways can be less boring and old.

Resurfacing Cost
The cost to resurface a concrete slab can vary quite a bit. Basic grey cement color over a fairly good condition of concrete could be as low as $3.75 per square foot where other more damaged areas and intricate pattern, multi color and borders can be a little bit more expensive. Price includes everything from prep work, power washing, resurfacing and sealing the area.
The Crack repair work required prior to resurfacing is the biggest variable and the level of decorative input required by the installer.
